Duality App: Targe

Personality
Targe is a naive and extremely impressionable thief, who's convinced himself he's a hero in the making. In truth, he tends to be a fumbling clutz whose pokemon end up cleaning up his messes for him. Extremely overconfident and far to gullible, he tends to forget he's suppose to be stealthy, often announcing his presence and preening to an enemy before he strikes. Anything he does acomplish is usually due in large part to his pokemon, who both help and hinder their master, depending on their mood.

Socially, he's very forward and friendly with about everyone he meets. The only people he really can't stand are ones that seem to be overly edgy for no good reason (making him a sure fit-in with the ruffians at the thieves guild :'D), or people who tend to mope a lot.
History
Targe was born into a traveling circus as a stagehand to his parents, duet stars in a knife throwing act, applauded for their skill. Growing up in the Circus, Targe had traveled around the world, hearing stories from all different parts of Unova about heroes, famous aura guardians, and their powerful pokemon. As a child, he would often daydream of one day leaving the circus, and setting out on his own Heroes' journey. These Daydreams solidified into goals when his friend, Nell, the understudy to the circus' fortune teller, gave him an ego-stroking card reading that assured him that he would go on to do great things, and make amazing changes in the world. This motivated the young boy to become every bit the talent his parents were. The oran berry fell pretty far from the tree with Targe, however, who never truly managed to master his parents' craft. Unfortunatly for Targe, and far more unfortunate for his test subjects, this was a fact Targe never seemed to grasp: After his parents passed away when he became a teenager, their son carried on their show as best he could, managing to just barely get by without too horrible of an incident for the next few years. After the conflict in Unova began, the Carnival quickly dissolved, most of it's members joining seperate guilds or fleeing the country entirely. Left without a home but free to finally persue his own dreams, Targe set out to join the Warrior's guild to become the hero he always knew he could be....
After failing miserably, he began to grow desperate as lines began to be drawn and fighting broke out. It was then he met A young woman named Daphne that directed him the thieves' guild.

And I suppose that's where our story starts in duality!
(I do want to note that the fortune Nel gave Targe was in no way true: Targe has even less aura ability than he does knife throwing skills, and unless Dragon legendaries are secretly super weak to small knives, that isn't doing him much good in any case >XD)

Pokemon

Takwa/Croagunk/Male
The Self proclaimed leader of their little team, Takwa is constantly scheming of ways he can exploit Targe to better his social standing. This usually ends in failure due to the young thief's ineptitude. However, The toxic frog pokemon has gotten descretly aiding the boy down to an art form, usually collaborating with Giffca to either help or hinder Targe. Despite his scheming attitude, he shares a close comradary with Targe and his fellow pokemon.

Giffca/Gengar/Male
Targe can't rightly say when Giffca first showed up in his life, only that he's the pokemon that's been around him the longest. Giffca tends to hide in Targe's shadow, literally, often popping out to either cause mischief or to help Targe (many a volunteer has been saved from Targe's show-knives by Giffca's psychic), it seems that the pokemon tends to treat Targe's entire existence as a source of entertainment. Takwa's schemes amuse him to no end, and he happily carries out whatever plot is required of him. Giffca also never talks to his fellow pokemon, usually all they get out of him is a sort of wheezey, half-mad laughter.

Baloo/Nidoran/Male(shiny)
Baloo is Targe's youngest pokemon, who he befriended only a few months before the circus split up. Targe stumbled upon the little pokemon being picked on by it's litter mates for his small size and coloration, which often caused the other members of his litter to disregard him as a runt. He's the most openly affectionate with Targe, happily obeying any orders the boy gives him. He has a deep desire to prove himself as a pokemon, but is often beset by his extreme shyness and trepadation, which only Targe can regularly jolly him out of. Baloo tends to watch with horror as Giffca and Takwa toy with their oblivious master.


In closing, dellusional young fool, a half-decent thief with pokemon that train him more than the other way around, with dreams of grandeur in a world that wants to eat him. This should be fun :3
